To me, anyway. But apart from just me, what I find amazing is the new media. Think about it, I'm just one voter, now with a blog. An observation, or a point gets made, other blogs link it, including Instapundit for one particular post on polls.

The item gets passed around and eventually read by the host of a national radio show and on the very same day / evening, it's shared with hundreds of thousands of listeners, according to this report.

The MarkLevinFan Blog has audio of Mark reading from my blog on the air today. Mark was especially generous in mentioning my blog and, as I have conveyed to him, I very much appreciate that.

I don't have significant media connections. I just had an idea and made a post out of it, just like anyone else could have done. It isn't just about ego, it's about a sense that one has the ability to influence the larger discussion on occasion. That's what's most invigorating when those opportunities come along.

Sure, it's just a blip. But I started this just over two years ago with 25 visits a day, half or more of them my own, lol and it sure feels like having come a long way.
